Best carnitas tacos I've had in Austin — the nachos plate was also amazing, and the frozen margaritas were excellent. The chips and salsa hit the table within minutes, warm and fresh. I love this place!

Great hidden gem without all the trendy fluff! My husband and I shared the nachos — I had the house margarita, he had the Mexican Martini, so yummy. Be sure to ask for Anna, she was the sweetest and made great recommendations. You won't be disappointed!

I'm not sure why Angie's doesn't get more press in Austin for having excellent Tex-Mex. After moving away from town, I hadn't been back in years, but I recently went for dinner with my daughter after a Longhorn game. The salsa is excellent, particularly if you like it hot, and our server convinced me to get a particular dish — she was right, it was absolutely delicious. The corn tortillas were excellent, freshly made to order. I highly recommend giving this local business your time.
